Tulips

Tulips (Tulipa) is a genus name for the 100 species of flowering plants belonging to the family Liliaceae. Tulips came from Central Asia, growing wild in the mountains of Pamir and Hindu Kush mountains and the steppes of Kazakhstan. Holland known as the land of tulips. Tulips is also the national flower of Iran and Turkey.

Tulips is rooted annual plants whose height between 10-70 cm, waxy leaves, narrow elongated shape colored shades of bluish green, the flowers are large and composed six pieces of leaf crown. Tulip result of crossbreeding to produce a single-colored flowers, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, or a variety of combinations and gradations of color. Tulip produce seeds flat circular wrapped in dried capsules.

As well as roses, lilies, orchids and peonies, tulips are flowers of the most cultivated man.
